Sample Daily Schedule

Drop Off & Free Play
8:00 AM

  • Students arrive, put things in their cubbies, and parents sign their child(ren) in.
  • Students enjoy playing with friends in our fenced play area.

Morning Meeting & Bible Time
9:00 – 9:30 AM

We share news of the day, have calendar time, and sing songs.
We learn verses and lessons from God’s Word, the Bible. “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

Bathroom Break & Hand Washing
9:30 – 9:40 AM

Group Snack
9:40 – 10:00 AM

Woods Wander & Learning Activity
10:00 – 11:00 AM

  • We get moving by wandering as a group to observe the woods, plants, creatures, and so much more.
  • We play games, have scavenger hunts, and participate in other group activities to help students have fun while learning new concepts.

Mid-Day Group, Songs & Journals
11:00 – 11:30 AM

  • Children come together and recall what activities they participated in and enjoyed throughout the day.
  • Journaling in their individual notebooks or in our large class notebook helps with vocabulary, fine motor skills, and are ways of showing what we are learning individually and together. 

Bathroom, Lunch, & Quiet Play
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Handwashing and listening to our bodies helps us to be ready to eat our lunches together comfortably.
  • Quiet play helps us to prepare for rest.

12:30 – Half Day Pick Up

Rest, Stories, & Quiet Activities
12:30 – 1:30 PM

  • All children need time to rest and let their bodies be calm.
  • We can look at books, do puzzles, or quiet hand crafts after we have given ourselves time to be still. 

Bathroom (bug spray/sunscreen/snow clothes)
1:30 – 1:45 PM

  • we reapply/suit up and make sure we are ready for our next adventure.

Free Play & Stations
1:45 – 3:00 PM

  • Encouraging cognitive, social emotional, and physical development through free play and themed stations is a large part of our day.

Final Group, Snack, & Free Play
3:00 – 3:45 PM

  • We take time to recall what we have learned, sing songs, play games and have our last snack of the day.

Dismissal & Pick Up
3:45 – 4:00 PM

  • We collect our things and make sure we are ready to see our parents and go home.
